Instant Collectible: The COLBERT patch

If you are one of the brilliant/lucky so-and-so’s who bought a COLBERT patch from The Space Store earlier this year, by all means put it someplace safe! The patch is out of production and has become an instant collector’s item.

The COLBERT patch was a big seller here at The Space Store, so we were very unhappy when a legal glitch between manufacturer AB Emblem and Comedy Central called a halt to its production.

Cosmic Rocket Demonstration

I found this video on YouTube. Experiment Boy, a very earnest young scientist, demonstrates the power of the Cosmic Rocketcosmicrocket, a six-inch rocket powered by vinegar and baking soda. With the aid of his little sister and the video operation of, hmm … his mom, probably, he sets it up and launches it into a very high and satisfying arc.
